Selena Group is a holding of international companies with a head office in Poland, which is engaged in the development, production and distribution of construction chemical products and systems for construction.It is one of the world's three leaders in the production of polyurethane foams used in the construction of buildings.

In Kazakhstan, the company began operating in 2002 with the delivery of products to the local market. In December 2016 in Astana, Selena Insulations plant was launched to produce dispersed and dry specialized building mixtures and products for thermal insulation of buildings under TYTAN brand name.

The products of Selena Group occupy strong leadership positions in the Kazakhstan market in four segments: polyurethane foams, building adhesives, sealants and foam adhesives. The company has representative offices in 8 cities of Kazakhstan.

The total trade turnover of the company for 15 years of work in Kazakhstan grew more than 20 times, the company paid to the national budget more than 1 billion tenge of tax deductions.

In the process of establishing the business of Selena in Kazakhstan, more than 3,000 jobs were created in client companies and more than 700 jobs in companies supplying raw materials. It should be noted that 90% of the company's personnel are Kazakh citizens who regularly attend professional training in the main office of Selena in Wroclaw.

The economic impact of this project on the region is very significant: the production of high-quality products, for which there is domestic demand in Kazakhstan with the use of new technologies and the creation of jobs for local staff. TYTAN is 95% Kazakh raw material and the quality of the product meets the highest European standards.

Selena Group constantly improves the quality of its products on the basis of scientific developments: more than 50 scientists, engineers and specialists in the field of construction chemistry work in the laboratories of the company located in Poland, Spain, Turkey and China and integrated into «Selena Labs».

The capital investments of the investor are 6 million euros. The main investments were made in the construction of a 5040 square meter plant, the installation of two high-performance lines for the production of dry construction mixtures, one line for the production of wet solutions, arranging the plant infrastracture with area of 2 hectares and the laying of an internal railway line.

The production capacity of the plant is 120,000 tons per year of dry construction mixtures and 10,000 tons of dispersion mixtures per year, with an expansion to 180,000 tons per year in the future. Due to the launch of the facility, more than 50 new jobs were created for engineering workers, financiers, lawyers, technologists. After reaching the full production cycle, the number of jobs will be increased to 100. Manufactured products are planned to be exported to the markets of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
