The final goal of all stages is the creation of a stable and convenient transit and the implementation of the development of the tourist potential of Kazakhstan. To ensure flows from the West and East, since 2008, the airline has been developing a system of Hubs in three cities of Kazakhstan: Almaty, Nur-Sultan and Aktau, with a waiting time of no more than 6 hours.
Over the past 10 years, the hub AT the airport of Aktau, created by the first in the framework of the program, has become one of the largest Hubs in the country. It connects such cities of Kazakhstan as Shymkent, Aktobe, Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Atyrau, Uralsk, Kokshetau with 7 cities of Russia: Moscow, Sochi, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Mineralnye Vody, Makhachkala, 2 cities of Georgia: Tbilisi and Batumi, as well as one of the largest cities in Turkey - Istanbul.
In 2016, based on the developed strategy, SCAT airlines started to create a Hub in Nur Sultan, the purpose of which is to connect the capital with the largest cities of Southeast Asia and Europe, as well as to increase the transit potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2018, following the implementation plan for the development of the Hub in Nur Sultan, SCAT airlines opened 7 new international flights from Nur Sultan to the CIS and foreign countries, as well as increased frequencies on existing domestic routes.
In 2018, the airline began to develop the European market by opening the Nur-Sultan – Vilnius flight, in 2019 it plans to connect the capital of Kazakhstan with the capital of the Czech Republic - Prague and strengthen its position in the Eastern direction-the opening of the Astana - Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) flight.
In 2018, the largest city of southern Kazakhstan - Shymkent gained a new status, becoming the third city of Republican significance, and was nominated for the status of the cultural capital of the CIS in 2020. In this regard, there was an urgent need to improve the quality of passenger service. Realizing the tasks, SCAT airlines signed a Memorandum on the construction of a new terminal of Shymkent airport with the akimat of the city. The construction of the new airport will attract additional tourist flows and will create another major aviation HUB, linking the South of Kazakhstan with South-East Asia and Europe, Turkey, the UAE. Consolidation of investments, efforts and infrastructure in one city will expand the network of routes and tariffs. The airline will be able to provide more new travel opportunities and significantly increase the transit flow of this region.
