LLP "Electric locomotive kauystyru zauyty"
The plant for the production of electric locomotives of LLP “Electric Locomotive Kurastyru Zauzy” was built as part of the implementation of the State Program for the Forced Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan and was solemnly opened by the Head of State - Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev in December 2012.
Thanks to the participation of international investors in the person of Alstom (France) and Transmashholding CJSC (Russia), not only the construction of the plant’s production complex was realized, but also a comprehensive transfer of manufacturing technology for modern and high-tech export-oriented products in Astana, which has already proved its competitiveness in Kazakhstan and abroad.
The total amount of investments made in the development of LLP “Electric Locomotive Kurastyru Zauyty” (hereinafter referred to as “the Partnership”) for the period from the moment the Partnership was established to date is 18,128,523 thousand tenge, including 8,128,523 thousand tenge made by the participants of the Partnership to the charter capital, incl. Alstom contribution - 4 064 261 thousand tenge (20 million euros at the 2010 exchange rate). The total amount of investments made by Alstom, currently stands at 12.5 billion tenge.
In addition to contributions to the authorized capital, the Partnership attracted a loan from Eurasian Development Bank JSC under the guarantee of participants in the amount of 10,000,000 thousand tenge. These funds were used to finance the construction of the production complex of the plant and the acquisition of technological equipment.
In the period from 2011 to 2018, the Partnership paid more than 14 billion tenge of taxes to the budget, including VAT - 13.4 billion tenge. The forecast volume of tax revenues to the budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the activities of the Partnership for the project implementation period (until 2030) will be more than 105 billion tenge, incl. 103.2 billion tenge VAT.
The staff number of the Partnership is 445 people of various specialties. In the case of the successful implementation of the planned development plans, in the second half of 2019 the number of created jobs will be 681 units.
