Khalel Akimzhanov was born in 1991 in the Karaganda region, graduated with honors from Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov.
Career
From 2015 to 2020, he worked at SEC Astana JSC, where he worked his way up from leading manager of the asset management department to managing director - member of the board.
He held the position of Chairman of the Board of JSC SEC Saryarka. Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English and Czech. Before his new appointment, he served as deputy akim of the city of Karaganda.
